Waking up Monday morning and looking at the forecast is enough to give you whiplash after the spectacular weather we had over the last weekend.

Instead of clear, crisp weather though we will be left behind with a cloudy, unsettled forecast as a surge of moisture pushes into the area.

As moisture levels increase so will the rain chances with the next several days likely seeing on and off again showers through the middle of the week.

The main culprit behind the showers will be a stalling front which will keep the rain chances elevated before finally clearing out through the day on Wednesday.

The good news is that temperatures are expected to cool down again, but in the mean time we have a couple of warm muggy days to get through first.

It won't necessarily be the afternoons when you feel the heat but the increase in humidity will make the overnight temperatures much warmer than what our typical lows should be this time of year.

Once the front finally pushes through, however, we'll be looking god to wrap up the work week.
