Showers possible during the weekend

It's that time again, we've made it to another weekend, and while may not contain the usual festivities Acadiana is known for we will still have some nice spring weather (albeit late spring).

Clouds are going to arrive overnight and continue to move through the area early Saturday morning, keeping our Friday lows sitting around 72, but this early morning cloud cover won't last all that long.

Most of the day Saturday will be fairly nice with temperatures sitting in the mid 80s for yet another day, the average temperature for this time of year is around 75 so we really have been very warm.

The clouds won't stay away all day though as clouds will move in ahead of a cold front which is expected to spark a handful of showers late Saturday night and early Sunday morning.

Any rain we get Saturday night will be clearing through the day on Sunday and temperatures will fall several degrees with highs a little closer to normal.

That will be the first of two front expected in Acadiana with the next one, slightly more robust, which will move through early Tuesday morning producing another round of showers and storms.

Neither of these two systems is expected to produce any kind of flooding or severe weather, instead it'll be more on the lines of a good soaking to help alleviate some of the pollen.
