Showers arriving just before the weekend

Clouds will be pushing into Acadiana through the day on Thursday as we get ready for a front to push through the area late in the day on Friday, which will be our next shot at some wet weather.

Despite the clouds the temperatures are still going to be sitting in the upper 70s in the afternoon, and humidity will be slightly higher outside to go alone with those temperatures.

Showers will hold off until a little later in the day on Friday with the early round of showers moving through during the evening and continuing overnight into Saturday morning.

There may be a few storms with the front but nothing that would indicate we have any severe weather we need to be worried about, and rain totals don't look too bad either.

This front is going to bring some cooler air into the region for the weekend which will mean cooler afternoons and chilly evenings, this cool weather won't last into the holiday week though with a warm front moving through during the mid week.
