An upper level disturbance will spark a round of showers and storms through the first half of the day Tuesday, providing some heavy downpours and lightning.
A surge of moisture is dropping in from the north and will be the main fuel source for Tuesday's storms.
Wet weather will eventually start to clear up through the late afternoon and evening so the commute home from work shouldn't be too wet.
Temperatures will be perched in the mid 80s with all the cloud cover and lows overnight are slated to get down into the lower 70s.
