It's been a great start to the week in the weather world, unfortunately though, it looks like a change in the pattern will be arriving on Wednesday.
Clouds have thickened up and a few spotty showers will be popping up through the rest of the day, although major rain isn't really expected at all for the mid week.
Despite the additional cloud cover, and even the spotty showers, temperatures are going to be much warmer with highs sitting in the low 70s and lows tonight dropping into the low 60s.
Winds are going to be picking up over the next two days which will indicate a good bit of wind shear out there, one of the main ingredients for some severe weather.
The presence of that shear will lead to the possibility of a few rotating thunderstorms and may lead to storms that produce damaging winds along with some isolated tornadoes.
Missing from the equation will be an abundance of energy for the storms to tap into, while there's going to be some instability out there it may not be enough to support a widespread event.
That being said a few isolated cases of severe weather will be possible so we'll need to remain vigilant in monitoring the weather on Thursday.
Storms will be moving through in the evening on Thursday with the worst weather expected somewhere between 3:00 - 6:00 in the evening, and clearing as we get passed dinner time.
