The late summer forecasts can blend together, and as the weekend comes to an end and we start another work week there won't be much change to our pattern at all.
Isolated showers along the coast will kick start the day with sunshine mixed in to the northern parts of Acadiana.
As Monday continues though showers will become a little more widespread across the area producing heavy downpours at times, along with some lightning.
It won't do much to help with temperatures which will sit around 90 and the added rainfall will actually cause a spike in the feel like temperature.
Don't expected the rain to last through the day while there may be showers around you all day most rainfall will be sporadic and fairly short lasting.
This will be the way the weather goes for the better part of the week, so hopefully everyone had a chance to get that yard work done this weekend.
It should also be noted that there will be a wave of moisture that will push in from the tropics this weekend which could produce some very heavy rain, timing and location remains an issue but it's something monitor.
