The forecast has finally settled down a little after a solid week of soggy weather.
Tuesday will be partly to mostly sunny allowing temperatures to push up to around 92 in the afternoon with a heat index in the triple digits.
A few showers will be possible in the afternoon, but despite a decrease in shower chances there's still plenty of moisture in the atmosphere.
This means thick soupy air for another few days, and a weakening cold front on the way for Wednesday.
While there may be a chance for some drier air by the end of the week it's not going to be overly pronounced.
Temperatures will dip a little for Friday morning but not by too much.
