The forecast has settled down into a pretty quiet pattern with little change day in and day out across Acadiana, meaning Tuesday's forecast will be a repeat of Monday's weather.
After some fog early in the morning the skies will gradually clear and mostly sunny skies will prevail through the afternoon leading to another round of above normal temperatures.
Highs in the afternoon will sit in the mid 80s with a heat index sitting just a little higher, and even the lows won't be too cool as they will be dropping down into the upper 60s by early Wednesday.
There's not much that's going to break up this pattern so don't expect much change in the forecast through the majority of the work week.
As moisture builds up we may see some extra showers on Thursday and Friday but even then they'll be staying spotty and short lived, a slight cool down into the weekend with a substantial cool down on the way for next week.
