Mostly sunny skies to start the work week as we face another week of very typical summer like weather.
Highs will push into the mid 90s with the heat index likely sitting right around 100 through the majority of the afternoon.
While it'll be mostly sunny there's an outside chance for a pop up shower or two late in the afternoon and a thunderstorm also wouldn't be out of the question.
This will be the case through the majority of the week with a few more scattered showers possible by the end of the weekend.
The tropics remain fairly quiet with one wave in the Atlantic that has a 60% chance to develop in the Atlantic Basin, although the tropics locally don't show any sign of flaring up.
