Mostly sunny skies will be with us as we wrap up another work week and look toward the weekend.
It's been a quiet week so far across Acadiana, and it looks like that will be the case still over the next couple of days with the only exception being a few scattered showers over the weekend.
Temperatures will remain in the low 90s and the heat index will continue to flirt with the triple digits for the next several days.
While rain chances Thursday and Friday look minimal a rebound of moisture could mean a few scattered thunderstorms on Saturday afternoon, but nothing that will be too blanketing or last that long.
The following week looks more interesting with models completely split on what we may be facing with the EURO bringing a wet, warm summer pattern and the GFS bringing a cold front.
There's essentially no consensus between the big models so we will all eagerly be in wait and see mode.
