A July cold front isn't all that common in the middle of a south Louisiana summer, but even if it is rare I doubt anyone will be complaining about Wednesday's weather forecast.
Humidity is much lower than it has been over the last couple of months making for a very pleasant morning, and even after the highs start to pick up the heat index will be manageable.
Wednesday's highs will be in the mid 80s in the afternoon, heat index close to 90, and the lows will be even cooler by Thursday morning by dropping down into the mid 60s.
This pattern will last through the middle of the week with moisture starting to creep back into the area by the end of the week, and unfortunately a return to normal by the weekend.
