Qualifying closes for November election

The candidates for the upcoming election are solidified after the qualifying process was rescheduled and changed because of COVID-19.

The period to qualify for the November 3, 2020 election ran for three days, ending Friday the 24th at 4:30 p.m.

Here are the major statewide races:

U.S. Senator

Beryl Billiot, John Paul Bourgeois, Bill Cassidy (incumbent), Reno Jean Daret III, Derrick "Champ" Edwards, "Xan" John, David Drew Knight, M.V. "Vinny" Mendoza, Jamar Montgomery, Dustin Murphy, Adrian Perkins, Antoine Pierce, Melinda Mary Price, Aaron Sigler, Peter Wenstrup

U.S. Representative 3rd Congressional District
