Popeyes says they have run out of chicken sandwiches, and it's not just locally.
The fast food chain took to Twitter to announce that all of their chicken sandwiches are gone, having sold out across the country. "You ate them ALL," a message on Twitter reads.
The company says they will be back for good at a later time. No date was given.
It appears the sandwiches are still being sold at locations that have supplies but once they run out at those locations, it may be a while before they are restocked. Those restaurants are expected to sell out by the end of the week, the company says.
Inventory of the chicken sandwich, according to Popeyes, are gone.
