Temperatures started to warm up at the beginning of the week and that process will continue on Tuesday with highs in the low 70s with more warm air moving in to the region.

That warm air is being carried in by winds coming in from the Gulf of Mexico and not only is it warming us up but also introducing some more moisture to the atmosphere.

This bump in moisture will bring in a few clouds on Tuesday, although it will still be predominantly sunny skies despite a few added clouds.

Clouds increase Tuesday night and will thicken through the back half of the week with mostly cloudy skies expected Wednesday and Thursday with showers moving through Friday.

The rain will hold off until the very end of the week and should be ending by the weekend with slightly cooler air moving in behind it.
