Normal summer weather returns to Acadiana

Posted
and last updated

The weather has returned to normal across south Louisiana, and for the end of July that means hot, humid conditions are back for the foreseeable future.

Skies will remain mostly sunny with tropical clouds drifting around as the day heats up, and occasionally those clouds will be producing heavy showers or a thunderstorm or two.

Rain chances will remain isolated at best, and even taking a look at Friday's forecast there's not a whole lot in the way of rain chances to wrap up the work week.

There's a weak front that will bring in a scattering of showers on Saturday, although this front will keep all tropical weather out to our east.

The rest of the weekend is looking quiet and even the majority of next week will be a typical summer set up.
