Well, we have made it to the first week of 2021!
Not quite as cold tonight, but still chilly as lows drop back into the mid-40s under clear skies.
A very weak upper-level disturbance will be passing through tomorrow and although we won't see any rainfall, it may help to usher in at least a few fair-weather clouds throughout the day.
Otherwise, expect mainly sunny skies as high temperatures climb to near 70 degrees.
A little colder start to Tuesday as lows drop back into the lower 40s.
Plentiful sunshine expected on Tuesday afternoon as highs settle into the mid-60s.
Should just be a lovely start to the week!
Clouds will start to build heading into Wednesday ahead of our next upper-level disturbance.
Most of the day should remain dry as temperatures return to the upper-60s.
I have kept a slight chance to see a few spotty showers for late Wednesday afternoon, but better rain chances arrive overnight Wednesday into very early Thursday morning as a cold front pushes through.
We are still not expecting severe weather at this time since the ingredients do not appear to be there.
Expect mainly showery activity with a few rumbles of thunder possible.
The bulk of this activity pushes out of here by daybreak on Thursday morning with some gradual clearing possible late in the day.
High pressure builds in for Friday with chilly conditions in place.
High temperatures may struggle to reach the mid-50s on Friday afternoon.
Upcoming weekend looks okay for now, although we may have to contend with at least some cloud cover...
