Two more turkeys are preparing to get their pardon from President Donald Trump before Thanksgiving Day.

The pair, named Bread and Butter, arrived in Washington, D.C. on Sunday from North Carolina.

The two are spending some time at the Willard Hotel in their own room before Tuesday's pardoning ceremony.

One of the two lucky birds will appear with the president for the annual ceremony in the White House Rose Garden.

The other turkey will act as an alternate but also receive an official pardon from the president.

The public can vote on which turkey they'd like to see in the spotlight on Tuesday. Votes can be made via The White House Twitter account.

Almost 20,000 votes had been made by 12 pm on Monday.

After pardoning, the turkeys will retire to Gobblers Rest at Virginia Tech.
