The Coast Guard says they are currently searching for a cruise ship passenger who went overboard Thursday night near Galveston.
Officials were notified that a 26-year-old man, who was a passenger on the Carnival Dream, had gone overboard around 8:45 pm.
The incident happened about 47 miles southeast of Galveston.
According to KHOU, The ship was sailing from Galveston, TX to Cozumel, Mexico on the first day of a four-day voyage.
An MH-65 Dolphin Helicopter crew and HC-144 Ocean Sentry aircrew were dispatched to search the area.
