The clouds are moving in Wednesday as the pattern starts to flip for south Louisiana eventually ushering in a wet wrap up to the work week.

As the clouds increase, and the sun diminishes, temperatures aren't expected to change much with highs continually sitting in the low 70s for the next several days.

Since the skies won't be clear the next several nights the lows are expected to sit in the low to mid 50s keeping things fairly mild for the foreseeable future.

Showers will swing through on Thursday evening, scattered at first, but increasing in coverage through the day on Friday.

This means a wet wrap up to the work week with most of the clouds spilling over into the weekend as well.
