Acadiana has another mild day coming up on Tuesday with another round of warm, sunny weather.
Highs in the afternoon are expected to reach into the upper 60s and lows will drop down into the low 40s, this mild stretch of weather will come to an end by the end of the week.
A front is going to move through on Wednesday night bringing with it a round of showers and storms that should be cleared by early Thursday morning, there is no severe weather expected.
This front is going to usher in a very chilly period through much of Acadiana which will last through the end of the week and even into the weekend.
There are some early indications that we may have an interesting forecast on Sunday with even colder air dropping in along with some precipitation on Sunday evening.
That is still a long way away so confidence in the forecast right now remains low, but there are some indications that winter precipitation may be possible at the end of the weekend.
It is far from a guarantee but it is something worth watching through the rest of the week to see if confidence grows over the next couple of days.
