FRANKLIN — St. Mary Parish residents will have a chance to meet with candidates before early voting starts this weekend.
A meet-and-greet will be held tonight at the Franklin City Recreation Center beginning at 6 p. m. Candidates vying for State Representative District 50 and St. Mary Parish Council Districts 3 and 10 were invited. The meet-and-greet is sponsored by St. Mary NAACP, Franklin-Jeanerette Alunmae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Iota Eta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
