On Thursday afternoon, deputies in Tampa Bay, Florida were called to a local Walmart for reports of a man on a golf cart, according to WFTS Tampa Bay.

The reports say that the man was blocking the liquor store entrance and refusing to leave while demanding to speak to a manager.

While deputies were speaking with the man, identified as Michael Hudson, he suddenly accelerated through the front of the store, nearly striking pedestrians.

Deputies repeatedly told Hudson to stop, according to WFTS, but he continued and crashed the golf cart through the glass front doors of the main entrance.

After driving through the store again towards the checkout section, Hudson crashed into a cash register and was taken into custody. He was first taken to a local hospital for injuries he sustained during the crash.

Hudson was charged with Trespass After Warning, Resisting Arrest Without Violence, Criminal Mischief, and multiple counts of Aggravated Batter/Aggravated Assault with a Motor Vehicle.
