Seniors at North Vermilion High School celebrated Saturday night in their football stadium.
The ceremony looked a bit different this year as family members and graduates sat at the school's football field to ensure social distancing was maintained. Students sat in the bleachers, while loved ones sat on the field.
"It's different this year because the students were limited to four tickets per student and we're having it outside so that everyone can remain at a safe distance," explained biology teacher Blake Touchet.
VPSB Interim Superintendent Brad Prudhomme said staff and administrators worked hard with the state in Baton Rouge to make sure that the students could be celebrated while still keeping everyone safe.
