The Knights of Columbus Kaplan Council 2913 hosted a free lunch today at the Home Association Hall.
The event was open to the public.
On the menu was turkey, pork roast, ham, rice dressing, sweet peas, yams, bread, and dessert.
A formal blessing of the families was held at 12 p.m.
Santa was also at the event for the young attendees.
"It's a good feeling, it really is. I got a great group of guys over here that feel the same way as I do. Give back to the people. It's always better to give, and in turn you will receive from God," said Felix Guidry with the Knights of Columbus.
