The District 13 Volunteer Fire Department is working a fire in Forked Island.
According to officials, the Volunteer Department was called to the fire and had been on scene for about an hour.
The fire is near Forked Island Bridge in Vermilion Parish.
We reached out to the District 13 Volunteer Fire Department, but have not heard back.
Details on the fire are unknown at this time.
