MORGAN CITY — Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City now has a new name and new management.
The former Teche Regional Medical Center is now called Ochsner St. Mary.
New Orleans-based Ochsner Health signed a lease with the St. Mary Hospital District to operate the facility. That agreement took effect Tuesday, October 1.
The change comes one week after Lafayette General Health and Ochsner announced their plans to merge.
