The Berwick Police Department is reminding residents that the town does have a juvenile curfew after several burglaries in the town.

In a post on Facebook, officials say the town has been experiencing a rash of burglaries and thefts, and remind residents to lock their vehicles and homes and never leave things of value in view.

Immediately report suspicious activity to police, especially during the late night and early morning hours.

The juvenile curfew prohibits any unaccompanied minor under the age of 17 from being out between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. except Saturday, when the hours are 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The curfew is being strictly enforced by the Berwick Police Department.
