St. Martinville Mayor Melinda Mitchell and District 5 Councilman Edmond Joseph are hosting a series of Town Hall meetings in the city.
The fifth meeting is being held tonight, Tuesday, August 14, 2019.
The meeting will start at 6 p.m. at the Sterling Alexander Center in Adam Carlson Memorial Park.
While City Council meetings are open to the public, they provide limited opportunities for public participation.
Mayor Mitchell and the City Council have decided to provide a more intimate space for dialogue between residents and government officials. This is after an increase of residents attending the City Council meetings and wanting to be involved in city government.
