The St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal pedestrian crash that took place on Tuesday evening.
46-year-old Shawn Talley was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound in the 1000 block of Huval Lane in Cecilia, according to police.
St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Deputies responded around 6 p.m. and shortly after arrival were advised by emergency medical personnel that the victim was deceased.
Upon further investigation, deputies learned that the victim was walking on the roadway when he was struck by the driver of the vehicle.
The investigation remains ongoing and no charges are pending at this time.
