A Bogalusa man has been arrested on indecent behavior charges after an investigation by several agencies, including divisions of the U.S. Marshals.
According to a release from St. Martin Deputies, investigators received a report of alleged indecent behavior involving a juvenile suspect.
It was determined by police that the suspect had sent the juvenile victim several obscene videos, photographs, and messages. At the culmination of the investigation, a warrant was issued for the arrest of the suspect, identified as 19-year-old Charvo Malik Myers of Bogalusa.
The arrest warrant was served Thursday morning; shortly after, Myers was arrested in Bogalusa by the U.S. Marshals' Service Fugitive Task Force (Lafayette and New Orleans Divisions), along with the assistance of the Bogalusa Police Department.
Myers was extradited to the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center Friday afternoon, where he was booked into the correctional center on the following charges:
1 count Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile (Felony)
1 count Computer Aided Solicitation of a Minor (felony)
At this time, no bond has been set.
