The St. Martin Council on Aging hosted its Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon today st St. Francis of Assissi Church Hall.
The event, sponsored by Sheriff Ronny Theriot and the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office, began at 9 a.m.
The luncheon featured a continental breakfast, door prizes, and a lunch of catfish couvillion.
Attendees played bingo and received valuable information from various healthcare agencies.
Musical entertainment was provided by local Zydeco artist Donna Angelle. Grace Hospice hosted a photo booth for those interested in capturing the moment.
Executive Director Shanese Lewis said, "Our seniors don't get to get out often. So this is an opportunity to be out today, socialize, with people they know, have a little fun, and a good meal as well."
