One person has died after an ATV crash on Anderson and Louise St. in Breaux Bridge on Saturday.
Police identified the driver as 28-year-old Jerrell Batiste.
Spokesman for the department Assistant Chief Terry Latiolais said police were called to the intersection around 1:45 p.m. this afternoon in reference to a single vehicle crash involving a 4-wheeler.
Asst. Chief Latiolais said the driver was traveling on Louise St. and for unknown reasons, went off the roadway, hit a culvert, and flipped. The driver was ejected.
Batiste died at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash.
