In St. Martin Parish, kids are back to school this week.
At Breaux Bridge Primary, Principal Jill Bozeman welcomed kindergarten through third graders with open arms. She says her staff is looking forward to all the possibility that comes with a new school year.
"They have a blank canvas and every day we need to add color to it, whether that is knowledge, growing the whole child, a restorative practice if we're working on the whole child and things that they respond to. And just setting a good foundation. The more colors they have on their palate the more they have to work with," says Bozeman.
