The St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office hosted the P.O.S.T. Training Academy Graduation today at the Training Academy located in St. Martinville.
The ceremony was held at 9 a.m. 30 cadets were in the graduating class.
William Green, a St. Martin Parish Deputy, said of the program, "The age gap that we had in the class, like I said, anywhere between 20 to 58 years old, the mentality of the different generations coming together. Past experiences, no experiences. We all come together and help each other mentally and prepare.
