Westminster Christian Academy Preschool in Opelousas held a graduation parade for students heading to the first grade.
The parade began at 6 p.m. at the school and traveled to First Baptist Church.
Families decorated their cars and students will receive a diploma and keepsakes with a photo opportunity.
Organizers implemented proper social distancing practices during the ceremony.
Staff at Westminster say that even though the school year ended a little differently, they still wanted to celebrate their students.
"We want to show the children that we love them," said Jawana D'avy, who teaches K5. "That we honor and respect all of their accomplishments this year."
