This week is National Nurses Week, and Tri Parish uniforms in Opelousas is holding a giveaway to thank area nurses.
Tri Parish is currently accepting nominations for nurses to be entered into a drawing to win some prizes like compression socks, a watch, a free set of scrubs, and more.
There are three gift sets. To enter or nominate someone, go to their Facebook page, look for their post about the giveaway, then like, comment, and share!
Store Manager Rebecca Lavergne said the giveaway is to show appreciation for local nurses, especially during this difficult time.
"We hear the stories of them not even going home to their own families because they're taking care of ours. We wanted to make this nurses week very special by giving away three of these bags to the CNAs, to the RNs, to the LPNs. Without them our business wouldn't be here so we definitely appreciate them."
