AT&T landline customers in the Port Barre area are currently unable to make contact with 911, according to the Port Barre Police Department.
The department says that AT&T does not have a restoration time available at this time. The department will update when further information is available.
Anyone with an emergency is asked to use a cell phone or contact the Port Barre Police Department.
