In Port Barre, the city held a Polar Express Pajama Party at the town hall tonight.
Guests enjoyed popcorn, snacks, and drinks, as well as dressing down for the occasion in their pajamas.
Mayor John Ardoin is proud of the community for coming together for the event.
"We want everybody to come together and be proud of our small town, and that's what we are trying to do with this. There will be more activities."
