An Opelousas man has been arrested on second degree rape charges after a tip to police.
Reginald Jackson, 58, was arrested on Thursday after a close family member reported the recent sexual assault, according to OPD spokesman Major Mark Guidry.
In October 2019, Jackson was arrested on manslaughter charges for the death of his son, Guidry said.
Jackson was booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail for Second Degree Rape.
