Residents statewide headed to their salons on Friday as they reopened to customers.
Clients of Glam Hair Salon in Opelousas were no different. Customers waited for their appointments in the parking lot.
And once inside, they wore masks while keeping the appropriate amount of space between each other.
Some say it was about time, because their own skills didn't quite pass the test.
"I'm usually here every four weeks and she does a wonderful job," said client Belinda Wyble. "I've been trying to do it myself but I can't nearly get it like she does it."
