The Eunice Police Department is investigating the vandalizing of the Liberty Theater, a historic building in the town.
Photos in a post on the Eunice City Marshal's Facebook page show the graffiti, which firefighters Jeremy Faulkner and Blake Smith from EFD were attempted to paint over.
The Liberty Theater originally opened in the 1920s.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the Eunice Police Department at 337-457-2626.
