Young athletes of Lafayette Parish came together to play in the annual tackle football jamboree today.
The jamboree was held at a park on Bluebird Drive, between Lourdes Hospital and Comeaux High School.
Daniel Comeaux, Cajun Sports Association President, said "As many people know, recreational sports are on the decline, and they really need to come back. It's very important for these young men and young women to be able to come out and participate in recreational sports."
