The Blanco Center at UL has launched its inaugural event of its public policy series.
The event took place at the LITE Center and featured Reset Louisiana, which is a collaboration of organizations to improve state programs such as education, finances, and transportation.
Speakers at the event included leaders from BESE, DOTD, and Senate President Page Cortez.
Stephen Barnes, Director of the Public Policy Center, said, "We're really excited today to be hosting our inaugural event. We've got great partners and a lot of support from our sponsors to make this event a success and hope for many more of these to come in the future."
