Six inmates with the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office graduated today from SLCC as part of a workforce partnership between the community college and the sheriff's office.
The six graduates are Max Amy, Meyagi Baker, Clayton Batiste, Blake Hebert, Nicholas Leblanc, and Klifford Moss
This is the second graduating class as a result of the this partnership. Last year, two students graduated from the program.
The graduation was held at 2 p.m. this afternoon at the LPSO Transitional Housing Facility on Willow St.
