IBERIABANK is hosting the 6th Annual Project Front Yard awards ceremony tonight at the IBERIABANK Tower at from 5:30 - 7 p.m. Awards will be presented at 6 p.m.
The awards honor local individuals and groups who work to make Lafayette Parish a cleaner and greener community. This year's nominations will be accepted in five categories: Best in Preservation, Best in Restoration, Best in Advocacy, Overall Best Project Front Yard Effort, and the Mayor's Citizen Action Award.
Jerry Vascocu, IBERIABANK Acadiana President, said "We recognize the importance of the participants' everyday efforts and commend the individuals and businesses who have been outstanding in making our community a beautiful place to enjoy."
Participants had to either live or work in Lafayette Parish to be eligible.
