LAFAYETTE — Police say they have increased patrols in one Lafayette neighborhood following Wednesday's fatal shooting behind St. Anthony's Catholic Church.

Police are currently looking for a white SUV that witnesses say they saw fleeing Edison Street following the incident.

20-year-old Tiage Hudson was fatally shot in that incident.

Cpl. Bridgette Dugas says the shooting was an isolated incident.

KATC's Chris Welty was on the scene of the shooting. He spoke to family and neighbors who say that the violence needs to stop.
