In Lafayette, Dr. William Schumacher, founder and Executive Chairman of SCP Health received a Lifetime Achievement Award on Thursday night.
The honor was given by the Louisiana Limb Salvage Club.
Schumacher was honored for his work in the community and for his advocacy efforts.
