The Kiwanis Club of Lafayette and Key Clubs from Southside High and Lafayette High delivered supplies to Foster the Love Louisiana today.
Foster the Love provides children with needed supplies as they enter foster care. Often, children enter foster homes without essential hygiene and clothing items.
The clubs collected items such as clothes, diapers, and snacks.
The supplies were dropped off at the organization's Community Closet in downtown Lafayette.
Brett Bayard, President of the Kiwanis Club of Lafayette, said that, "it's fun to come together and do a project that's going to help the children of our area, and that's what we do. The Kiwanis Club of Lafayette, that's our goal. To make the lives of children better."
