LAFAYETTE, LA- Kid's World, an indoor play arena in Lafayette, is hosting a Mardi Gras camp the week of February 24-28 that includes an entire agenda geared towards providing fun and crafts to children all week long. Aside from access to the playground structure, children will also participate in a number of holiday-related arts and crafts. Children will participate in frosting king cakes, decorating masks, and creating their own shoebox float that will be displayed in a mini parade.
The camp is available for children ages 4 to 10, and there is a limited amount of space available. The cost for the week is $140, which also includes lunch and an evening snack.
The hours for the camp are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. with an additional 7:30 a.m. drop off and a 6 p.m. pick up option for an additional fee. The registration is open on the Kid's World website.
"We are so excited to be able to host our very first Mardi Gras Camp," says Eboni Celestine, owner of Kid's World. "This is a great opportunity to get kids active and out of the house throughout the school break."
Kid's World is located at 110 Production Dr., Suit 109 in Lafayette.
