The once-popular Posados Mexican Restaurant on Ambassador Caffery has recently sold and will soon be partially demolished to make way for a new development project.
According to Developing Lafayette, local developers purchased the property last month for $2 million.
The new project is called Englewood Plaza and will include dining options as well as a retail store called Luminaires that will serve as a residential and commercial lighting showroom.
One dining option will be a speakeasy called Capone's Drinkery & Eats, which is owned by the same owners of Brick & Spoon.
